This is a 10-week internship commencing Summer 2025
Join our team as an intern and gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of proprietary trading!
About the position:
As an intern, you will work closely with our core development team on various projects related to exchange connectivity, real-time data analytics, quantitative pricing, and trading strategies.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to our trading operations by developing new features and building technical capabilities to enhance our delivery pipeline. This includes researching new database engines, evaluating technologies for container orchestration, and optimizing pricing engines across multiple clusters. You will also have the chance to learn our primary development languages, such as C++ and Golang, and work on trading strategies for asset classes like ETFs, Options, or Crypto assets.
Throughout the internship, you will receive guidance and feedback from mentors to support your personal and professional growth. As part of our collaborative team, you will solve complex technical problems in a fast-paced environment and build tools that bring our trading strategies to life.
Who you are
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in a STEM subject, preferably Computer Science.
- Proficiency in languages such as C++, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or Python.
- Some experience with Relational or Timeseries database engines is advantageous.
- Suitable for students graduating no later than Summer 2026
- Demonstrated strong interest in finance, trading, and new business technologies.
- Knowledge in fields related to statistical analysis (e.g., machine learning) is a plus.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- A self-starter who can work independently and take initiative.
- Must have the right to work in Hong Kong for the duration of the internship.
- Available full-time during the internship period.
