A Career with Point72’s Treasury team will give you: 

•  The opportunity to utilize your strong problem-solving skills to help enhance the performance of the firm.
• Exposure to variety of financial instruments including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange, and futures across global markets.
• Supporting the credit and treasury functions which requires verifying, analyzing, and disputing, if necessary, margin calls and recalls; reporting on counterparty exposure, investing the firm’s excess cash and negotiating margin requirements with the firm’s prime brokers and derivative counterparts. 

About the Treasury Internship 
If you are interested in pursuing a career in Treasury at an investment firm, the 10-week Treasury internship at Point72 will provide you with a valuable experience, hands-on experience. During the 10-week program based in our Stamford office, you will gain exposure to: 

• Groups across Point72’s Treasury function, including Central Funding, Securities Lending, and Broker Relations
• The fast paced and competitive hedge fund industry
• Treasury professionals dedicated to investing in your success
• Interacting with senior-level professionals
•  Various aspects of the firm’s treasury function while you explore opportunities to remain with Point72 in a full-time roll

Summer Internship Program at Point72 

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will: 

• Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals
• Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events
• Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths
• Get hands on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use every day
• Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry

• Participate in networking opportunities across the firm, with groups such as Trading, Finance, Trade Support, Compliance, and Technology 

What’s required 

• Expected Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, or related field (Fall 2025 or Spring 2026)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team
• Ability and willingness to conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times  
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
