The Trade Support team, part of our Operations team, has a dedicated staff that provides accurate and timely reporting and services to its business partners, while adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards.  

The Trade Support team offers a challenging environment where business-minded individuals can learn, progress, and innovate in their professional careers. The team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firm-wide, including: 

• Supporting the firm’s daily trading activities for all products across global markets, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange, and futures 

• Interacting with traders and counterparties to resolve trading matters 

• Providing accurate books and records for the firm on a daily and monthly basis 

About the Trade Support Internship 

The Trade Support Internship at Point72 provides individuals interested in pursuing a career in Operations at an investment firm with a valuable, hands-on experience. During the 10-week program based in our Stamford office, you will gain exposure to: 

• Multiple teams within Trade Support at Point72 

• The fast-paced, competitive hedge fund world and industry best practices 

• Finance professionals dedicated to investing in your success 

• Interacting with senior-level professionals 

• Various aspects of the firm’s operations while you explore opportunities to remain with Point72 in a full-time role 

Summer Internship Program at Point72 

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will: 

• Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals 

• Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events 

• Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths 

• Get hands on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use every day 

• Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry 

• Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills 

• Participate in networking opportunities across the firm, with groups such as Trading, Finance, Trade Support, Compliance, and Technology 

 What’s required 

• Expected Bachelor’s degree (Fall 2025 or Spring 2026) 

• Demonstrated academic success as reflected in a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills 

• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team 

• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times 

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
