What you’ll work on

You will play a critical role in building our Shanghai AI Centre by sourcing, attracting and hiring top AI and machine learning talent. You will work closely with teams across the business to understand their needs and bring in individuals who can drive our innovation forward. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, sourcing expertise and a deep understanding of the AI/ML landscape.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Continually build and improve our talent pipeline through talent mapping, research, referrals, networking events and sourcing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the AI/ML community, top tier universities and targeted student groups.
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Regularly track pipeline activity to share with the team and internal stakeholders.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, including 2 years focusing on AI/ML roles.
  • Preferred experience in both campus and experienced hiring, as well as recruitment agency background.
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and technologies, with the ability to assess technical qualifications.
  • Solid talent sourcing skills with ability to deep dive into search strategies and execute extensive market specific talent mapping.
  • Established network within the AI/ML community and experience with university and industry partnerships.
  • Critical mindset, resilience, and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the recruitment process.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and evolving industry trends.
