VTEX DCS Program: A career acceleration program for individuals entering job market

VTEX DCS is a global program that prepares recent graduates to become specialists in the Digital Commerce industry. During the program, participants receive the most crucial knowledge and skills in high demand in the market, especially in commerce solution architecture.

Lasting for 18 months, the program combines a full-time employment opportunity with a learning program that offers an innovative and unique approach provided by the EICOM Institute. Currently, we hire DCSers in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, France, and Germany.

This career acceleration program offers a unique blend of theoretical and practical learning, providing participants with the most sought-after skills in the digital market. 

In DCS, we are developing individuals with the capability to become Commerce Specialists at a faster pace. These professionals are be able to talk business with authority and technical expertise.

How does the DCS Program work?

The DCS Program has two main pillars – WorkingExperience and Learning Experience – that will teach you all you need to know to pursue a career as a Digital Commerce Specialist.

Working experience 

To ensure that DCSers acquire the necessary knowledge to become future Commerce Specialists, the DCSers go through 3 different job rotations during the 1 year and a half of program.

In these job rotations, you will go deep into technical and business challenges and also develop your soft skills, while dealing with major clients and partners in the daily routine.

The working experience happens in parallel with the learning experience.

Learning Experience

The learning experience is the conducted in partnership with EICOM Institute. It consists of two tracks:

• Business Knowledge Track

This learning track will equip students with essential digital commerce dimensions of knowledge: Sales & Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain & Operations and Finance.

• Technical Knowledge Track

During this journey, students will learn technical knowledge and practices of solution architectures, and and work on projects where they can implement solutions for real VTEX clients.

Requirements  

• University degree or Diploma from advanced technical institute that is recognized by Ministry of Education, ideally in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Math.

• For this edition, your graduation date must be between December 2021 and December 2024.

• Proficiency in written and oral English is a must; additional languages are a plus.

• You must reside or have availability to work in Brazil: (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, João Pessoa, Recife or Curitiba), México (Mexico City), Argentina (Buenos Aires), Colombia (Medellin or Bogotá), US (Nova York), Spain (Barcelona), France (remote) or Germany (remote) Please note: VTEX is not responsible for relocation costs.

• Previous experience in ecommerce and B2B companies is preferable.

• Programming skills can be an advantage but are not a requirement.
