QA Automation Engineer (Java / Kotlin)
We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with Java / Kotlin knowledge. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test framework and test cases. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest quality of our software product through the implementation of best practices in test automation.
Requirements:
Hard skills:
Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an AQA Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Java
Hands-on Experience with:
- Version control systems (Github / Bitbucket, etc)
- API testing tools (Retrofit / REST Assured, etc)
- UI testing tools (Selenium / Selenide frameworks, XPAth / CSS selectors)
- Understanding of test runners (JUnit / TestNg), build tools (Gradle / Maven)
- CI/CD process and tools (TeamCity/Jenkins)
- Docker
Soft skills:
Ability to learn and enhance your skills
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently identify and troubleshoot problems
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team
Knowledge of QA methodology
Fluent English at a B2+ level
Good to have:
Familiarity with Kotlin
Understanding of test design, experience with test documentation creation and review
Familiarity with SQL and database testing, IoC frameworks (e.g. Spring / Micronaut, etc)
Experience with Hyper-V/Vmware
Responsibilities:
- Run tests and analyze results (nightly runs / regression results checks)
- Maintain and update existing API and UI test cases to follow the project changes, maintain consistent and reliable page objects
- Develop API automated tests using Kotlin + Retrofit + Jackson
- Develop UI tests using Kotlin + Selenide
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with team members through pull requests and code reviews
- Identify, document, and track issues through to resolution using JIRA
