What you’ll do:

Reporting to the GM of Global Brand Marketing, the GM of Brand Marketing EMEA, will be responsible for overseeing all Brand Marketing efforts across EMEA (UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Nordics and MENA).  The GM will also be directly be responsible for overseeing the Brand Marketing efforts and execution in the UK.  We’re looking for a marketing leader and visionary, who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when necessary. A results driven, storyteller who gets excited about simplifying data, building relationships and increasing brand awareness across the industry.

 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive EMEA go-to-market strategy that covers both the region as a whole and also country specific (UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Nordics and MENA)
  • Be directly responsible for developing and executing marketing efforts in UK
  • Be a true business partner to the EMEA leadership team, working closely to create and execute the marketing strategy and innovative brand building initiatives
  • Establish KPIs for the region, countries and marketing; track and report on metrics; collaborate with local and marketing leaders to continuously optimize in market plans
  • Act as the de facto TTD Marketing Leader in EMEA both internally and externally who is a critical thinker and executes with a solid, strategy first approach
  • Be able to represent TTD and our perspective as well as the larger industry, macro market drivers on industry stages at external, Thought Leadership conferences and events
  • Thinks globally and looks to build relationships and partnerships both internally and externally with a wide variety of stakeholders and partners
  • Mindset and ability to present ideas to senior level leadership and C-Suite, take feedback, and engage in debates to hone our strategy and drive growth for the business
  • Set vision for customer lifecycle, partnering with Business Development, Agency Development, Account Management and Client Service, to drive full funnel growth strategies
  • Will further extend The Trade Desk’s competitive differentiation across the region.
  • Develop a strong point of view on messaging and how to tell stories that break through with customers. Balance strategic thinking and focus on execution details.
  • Able to navigate a matrix organization and reporting structure – will have to inspire, lead and manage a marketing team that aren’t direct reports (dotted lines vs. straight lines)
  • Partner closely with other marketing division leaders and set his or her team up to succeed and help build consensus around the path forward.

Who you are:

  • Demonstrated years of marketing experience at a brand advertiser, agency, media company, product marketing, performance marketing/demand gen
  • Understandingof the programmatic advertising industry and AdTech ecosystem
  • Clear understanding and experience working with and presenting to sales teams
  • Compelling storyteller obsessed with performance motivated to simplify complexity
  • Values driven, empathetic leader with a high EQand natural ability to nurture relationships across large teams and thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Has concepted, developed and executed various campaigns utilizing all aspects of marketing channels including: Thought Leadership, Campaigns, Events, editorial and social content
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing, demand generation, analytics, event production and PR/Communications a must
  • Detail-oriented, take-ownership attitude, self-organizing and highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects
  • Able to work independently/autonomously and communicate up, down and laterally to project stakeholders
  • Comfortable with white space - ability to break down complex problems into actionable work plans with test and learn agenda
  • Experienced developing and managing a large team of 20+ people
  • Proficiency across multiple marketing tools/systems a plus: Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Salesforce, Marketo, Asana Bizible, Excel, Tableau
  • Multi-lingual a plus (French, Spanish, Italian, German, preferred)
  • Mix of B2B/B2C background a plus
