The People Understanding group develops services powering Microsoft 365 experiences such as Copilot, Microsoft Feed and Profile Cards. By responsibly capturing a deep semantic understanding of every person and integrating it into every aspect of our products - we empower efficient collaboration through meaningful people relationships and connections. Our products are used by millions of users, and through our services you get to write code that scales. 

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Focus Areas team, you will contribute to building a semantic understanding of people's collaboration patterns. The position will enable you to develop or enhance your expertise in product lifecycle, systems thinking and improve your decision-making skills through a growth mindset. You get to work with people with diverse skills and backgrounds. This role is flexible in that you can partner with your manager to define the way you would like to work, whether in the office or from home.
