We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Ruby Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the ongoing development and enhancement of our vPenTest product. This position requires a deep understanding of Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Object Oriented Design, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SoA). If you are passionate about building secure, high-quality software and are looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails OR Ruby and RSpec.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and programming principles.
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SoA).
- Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Service-oriented Architecture (SoA) and Microservices.
- Familiarity with AWS services.
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience with React.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of our vPenTest application, focusing on its scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with a team of developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.
- Implement robust set of services and APIs to power the application.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
