ROLE

We are looking for a senior social strategist with a curious mind to join and support the strategy development of some new & exciting global projects across social.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Major Task Headings:

  • Focus: Social Strategy
  • Actively help develop modern social strategies for a portfolio of global clients.
  • Integrating seamlessly with planning functions within our team, as well as partner agencies.
  • Ensuring appropriate measurement & effective outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing inspiration across various social and digital streams that will inform strategies, creative and content development that deeply connects brands with people.
  • Acting as a key strategic consultant including developing social strategies (especially content and channel strategies) leading into broader digital strategy
  • Develop an extensive and insightful knowledge of audiences and turn them into actionable personas for activation across social
  • Provide clear and straightforward creative direction through different tools or methods: single minded creative briefs, social journey development, or any other approach that will help sharpen creative output.
  • Stay current and connected to culture and social trends in order to inspire and bring innovation in our strategic and creative work.
  • Provide best practice in social communication development and implementation – including driving appropriate measurement, ensuring effectiveness of work.
  • Manage and develop our junior strategists & interns, including performance tracking and building of individual development plans.

 

PROFILE

  • 4 - 6 years experience in an agency and/or as a Digital Planner.
  • Native Dutch speaker with excellent level of English, and a deep understanding of the Flemish culture and market dynamics.
  • Strong knowledge of social media & digital communications planning
  • Cultivate audience-first thinking – always starting with the audience
  • Be Research savvy - understand how to apply qualitative and quantitative learnings.
  • Be a cultural voyeur - know how to tap into culture, scoping relevant trends.
  • Possess strong critical thinking skills - analytical, creative, and lateral.
  • Can tell and sell a story with strong presentation and writing skills.
  • Be digitally savvy and up to date with social media developments.
  • Be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Be available for travel – as needed.
