What You Will Be Doing

The Deployment Manager is overall responsible for delivering EV charging station installation projects for ChargePoint customers. The end-to-end responsibility includes managing external installation partners, communication and reporting to internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring customer satisfaction while deploying projects on time and budget. The Deployment Manager role requires the ability to take initiative, research and solve problems, independently and in collaboration with other teams. This role operationally supervises and collaborates with Deployment Specialist Team to achieve first-time-right Deployment project delivery. This position handles and is expected to protect all internal confidential information and may need to utilize discretion and judgement based on company policies and procedures.

  • End-to-end responsible for managing customer projects specific to installation and commissioning of charging infrastructure with internal stakeholders, external parties and customers.
  • Close collaboration with Deployment Specialists Team, Support organization and other internal company resources to respond and resolve issues jeopardizing project success and/or customer satisfaction.
  • Self-driven management and resolution of escalations ensuring first-time-right deployment
  • Responsible for successfully delivering bespoke services for larger and strategic customers
  • Adheres to defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key programs/ projects.
  • Maintaining established internal/external service levels.
  • Develop, maintain, and report progress/resolution on an as needed basis, per leadership needs.

Requirements

  • Native English speaker, German or French a plus
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders ensuring business fostering communication
  • Customer centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a technical or support or deployment environment focused on engineering, technical management or technical support, with increasing responsibilities, in the electric vehicle industry preferred. Experience with hardware, electrical engineering or construction a plus.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership and managing multiple projects
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, familiar with Salesforce a plus.
  • Other duties as assigned, or needed.
