Team mission

The FP&A team’s mission is about empowering sustainable growth by leveraging strategic financial planning and robust data-driven insights. As a key member of the Marketing FP&A team, you will play a pivotal role in optimising marketing investments.

You will:

Based in the Berlin headquarters and reporting to the Head of Marketing FP&A, you will leverage your analytical expertise to guide and support the Marketing team's strategic decisions, optimising key growth drivers for maximum efficiency. Your role will be crucial in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive the company's success. 

Your key responsibilities include:

• Transform Data into Actionable Insights: Conduct comprehensive analyses that deepen our understanding of customer behavior and how it impacts our marketing strategies, thereby providing actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and enhance marketing investment effectiveness.
• Influence Marketing Decision-Making: Ensure that we continuously improve our marketing investment allocation by prioritising high-impact, data-driven insights. Provide timely responses to critical inquiries from leadership and key stakeholders.
• Leverage Analytics for Business Impact: Work closely with Marketing Analytics to strategically harness and amplify new and existing insights, thereby focusing our efforts on areas with the most significant impact. 
• Collaborate on Investment Decisions: Partner with marketing stakeholders to create intuitive and structured ways to view our marketing channels, ensuring we consider both the short-term and long-term returns from our investments.

Who you are

• 5+ years of relevant analytics/FP&A experience and associated qualifications within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
• Analytically minded, using data coupled to influence business decisions
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, adept at simplifying complex data into clear and actionable insights for the leadership team.
• Proficient in BI tools such as Looker and Databricks, coupled with a basic understanding of data warehouse architecture and essential SQL querying skills.
• Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity offering a strategic perspective
• High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment choosing growth over comfort to turn uncertainty into clarity.
• Excellent Systems, Google Suite, MS Office & Financial Modelling skills, experience with an ERP or CPM system such as OneStream is advantageous
• Proficiency (both oral and written) in English is a prerequisite.
