The role

Join the Hellofresh security team to help to maintain the highest security standards within the industry. In this role you will join the Cloud Security Team, which is responsible for providing infrastructure security solutions at scale through automation.

What you’ll do

• Harness Cutting-Edge Security Tools: Leverage state-of-the-art security platforms like WIZ and Vault Enterprise to fortify our defenses.
• Automate and Innovate: Develop automated procedures and security products that continually improve HelloFresh’s infrastructure security posture.
• Elevate Cloud Security: Take the lead in advancing our cloud security posture, ensuring that our infrastructure remains robust, resilient, and resistant to emerging threats.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers across the entire HelloFresh organization, ensuring that every deployed solution meets the highest security standards.
• Fortify Our Infrastructure: Play a pivotal role in enhancing the security of HelloFresh’s cloud infrastructure and services, hardening them against potential abuse and malicious activities.
• Champion Container Security: Secure our containers and CI/CD pipelines by implementing developer-friendly guardrails, fully aligned with modern security principles.
• Design Scalable Security Processes: Create and manage scalable processes for provisioning cloud access, maintaining a strong focus on least-privilege principles.
• Mentor and Inspire: Share your expertise by mentoring and training your peers on the best practices in security, fostering a culture of security excellence.
• Lead Remediation Efforts: Take charge of identifying, remediating, and validating security issues across our cloud infrastructure, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.

What you’ll bring

• Problem-Solving Prowess: When no enterprise or open-source solution fits the bill, we create our own. That’s why your strong programming skills are essential.
• Expertise in Cloud and Network Security: You have a deep understanding of cloud and network security, staying ahead of modern threats and adhering to best practices.
• Mastery of Modern Cloud Technologies: You’re well-versed in the components and deployment patterns of modern cloud technologies, including CI/CD, virtual machines, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and infrastructure as code.
• Independent and Collaborative Work Style: You thrive both as an independent contributor and as a key member of cross-functional squads, adapting seamlessly to different team dynamics.
• Comprehensive Security Knowledge: Your solid foundation in security engineering, computer and network security, security protocols, and applied cryptography equips you to safeguard our infrastructure effectively.
