The mission of the Amazon Retail Account Management (RAM) team is to lead vendors to success across all Amazon EU marketplaces by guiding them, building trust and passionately challenging ourselves as well as the status quo. Our international and multilingual team, based in Bratislava, is focused on driving results, using a combination of direct interaction with the vendor and promoting usage of self-service solutions leveraging Amazon technology enhancements. We work in a complex environment, using a variety of tools to perform our tasks. We prioritize our interaction with vendors based on business opportunity and we work with dedicated vendor base throughout the year to meet department and product category specific business goals. We continuously improve our processes and we influence and interact with business and technical teams to create and improve process automation and vendor tools.
Account Managers proactively engage with vendors via phone, in-person meetings, or mail to:
· propose and negotiate annual terms to create mutually beneficial partnership
· remove operational blockers and deliver best possible customer experience
· expand selection offer and drive business growth.

BENEFITS
Base pay for this position starts from EUR 4200 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com. Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a Retail Ops Manager – Softlines, in the Retail Account Management organization to lead a team of Account Managers, including Team Managers tasked with complex account goals, problems and projects. You role will be to drive profitable growth of your product family / category / vendor portfolio of 200-500 pan-EU companies with revenue of €0.4B+, implementing business and operational strategy in collaboration with Category lead and Business Managers located within EU. You will be responsible to build diverse and inclusive team with focus on the effective recruitment, performance management, coaching and promotions. You will own pan EU program, drive results within assigned retail category and participate in strategic initiatives. You will partner and drive collaboration with cross-functional teams and EU stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and proven ability to develop and manage relationships, drive results and maximize the business growth opportunity, all in a fast-paced and changing environment


A day in the life
Your day usually includes leading your team members (1:1, team huddles) to accomplish product category business goals, resolve problems and drive projects – by inventing, evolving or optimizing processes and solutions - making trade-offs and adjusting team priorities. You collaborate with your peers in leadership meetings, department priorities and strategic initiatives. You will work with stakeholders, category leaders and senior leadership on a program you own. Your day is composed as well of personal work on long-term projects, ad-hoc requests, leadership related actions on department level and reporting/performance management.

Within the team, we are creating opportunities for social interactions in and outside of work, participate in volunteering activities to encourage team cohesion, sustainability and diversity.- 6+ years professional experience within Account Management, Sales, Vendor Management, Business Development, E-Commerce, Retail, Consulting, Business-to-Business (B2B), Sales Operations or Shared Service Operations.
- 4+ years' experience in people management, with proven track record to build inclusive and engaging teams in highly paced environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
- Experience with managing projects with regional complexity.
- Highly competent in prioritization and time management skills, with a high degree of flexibility with proven ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a changing and fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage with various stakeholders and be impactful in difficult situations.
- Actively seeks solutions through logical reasoning and data interpretation.
- Fluent level of English; additional language advantage
- Experience in E-Commerce, Corporate Retail, Consulting and/or B2B.
- Superior communication and presentation skills.
- Effective territory/account management. Strategy development with multi-phase execution and delivery: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, and negotiation.
- Financial and Business analytical skills for the purpose of making business decisions.
- Experience using analytical, account management, and productivity tools including Oracle Business Intelligence, Quicksight, CRM tools like SalesForce, and Microsoft Office Suites.
- Softlines category experience.
