We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial rolein developing our platform, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and ensuring robust and scalable solutions. You will work closely withcross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain high-performance applications hosted on AWS.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software using Java 17+ and the Quarkus framework.
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable and resilient applications on AWS.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Utilize REST and gRPC for creating and consuming APIs.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Git and Gradle.
  • Work with relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and the Quarkus framework.
  • Proven experience with AWS services and cloud-based/microservices architecture
  • Solid understanding of REST and gRPC for API development.
  • Expertise in using Git for version control and Gradle for build automation.
  • Extensive experience with both RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
  • Network knowledge (ICMP, SNMP, subnets, L2/L3 layers) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification(s) such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks.
  • Prior experience in mentoring and leading development teams.
