We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial rolein developing our platform, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and ensuring robust and scalable solutions. You will work closely withcross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain high-performance applications hosted on AWS.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software using Java 17+ and the Quarkus framework.
- Design, build, and optimize scalable and resilient applications on AWS.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Utilize REST and gRPC for creating and consuming APIs.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Git and Gradle.
- Work with relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and the Quarkus framework.
- Proven experience with AWS services and cloud-based/microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of REST and gRPC for API development.
- Expertise in using Git for version control and Gradle for build automation.
- Extensive experience with both RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
- Network knowledge (ICMP, SNMP, subnets, L2/L3 layers) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certification(s) such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks.
- Prior experience in mentoring and leading development teams.
