Your Impact

In this role you will be responsible for building recruiting strategies that attract and secure top talent to drive Axon’s mission to protect life forward. As a Recruiting Manager, you will roll up your sleeves to lead and work alongside a team of 3-5 skilled technical recruiters who focus primarily on software & hardware engineering roles along with a variety of tech-adjacent and supporting roles in EMEA. You will manage client relationships with key Axon leaders and will be a valued partner as Axon continues to build a R&D presence in EMEA.


What You’ll Do

Location: London, United Kingdom, In-Office 2-3 days a week
Reports to: Director, R&D Recruiting
Direct Reports: 3-5 Recruiters across various countries and time zones

  • Lead and Mentor: Directly manage a team of technical recruiters, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets and exceeds hiring targets and maintains high standards in their work.
  • Strategic Recruitment: Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans for software and hardware engineering roles, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal clients, managing relationships and ensuring a seamless recruitment process that aligns with their needs and expectations.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics from a variety of sources and consolidate to make informed decisions, track progress, see around corners, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive landscape to inform recruitment strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

 

What You Bring

  • 3+ years directly managing technical recruiters.
  • 5+ years of experience with direct client management.
  • 2 years of experience recruiting for hardware engineering roles is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
