Backend Software Engineer

Our team is actively searching for a skilled Backend Engineer with a strong focus on software development and networking expertise. As a pivotal member of our Engineering team, you will play a key role in the creation of cutting-edge technologies, specializing in software-defined networking (SDN), network virtualization, and network automation. We are seeking an enthusiastic engineer who thrives on problem-solving, networking challenges, and taking ownership to contribute to the development of exceptional products.
Collaboration and teamwork are fundamental to our culture, and we are looking for engineers who can fortify this foundation. Our team manages cloud-based networking and security services, encompassing a range of products from cloud-managed devices like Access Points, Switches, and Routers to cloud-based security services.
About You and what We need:
- S. or M.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of backend programming experience
- Experience with building and maintaining microservices, APIs, and other back-end processes
- Proficiency in PHP, Golang, Linux, and shell scripts (bash/python)
- Deep understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and networking protocols (e.g., DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, SSL, etc.)
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
- Skills in optimizing code and databases for performance and scalability
- Knowledge of continuous integration, testing tools, workflows, and source code management tools (e.g., git)
- Enjoy learning, self-motivated, and adaptable to evolving business needs
- A passion for technology
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

- Knowledge of SDN (Software Defined Networks)/NFV (Network Function Virtualization) and cybersecurity concepts
