DEVOPS ENGINEER

Location: London/Hybrid Remote

We have an office in London and this position can be based in the office, hybrid remote, or remote within a commutable distance to the office (subject to your existing right to work within the jurisdiction).

Here™ is growing and we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team! The person in this seat will help us continue to mature and scale our Cloud offerings through the building and deployment of systems. As any DevOps Engineer understands, that’s just the headline to the story! Your mission will be to work side by side with our talented engineers to continue to make our products the best they can be. Responsibilities

• Administer, grow, and support our AWS and On-Prem environment in an efficient, cost effective manner
• Help us architect and evaluate Multi-Tenant, Single-Tenant, and On-Prem API offerings
• Work cross functionally with DevOps, QA, and Engineering teams to identify relevant best practices for continuous integration and delivery
• Control deployment and both gather and maintain evidence for relevant SOC2 controls

What We’re Looking For

• Deep experience in Infrastructure as Code practices and tools (Terraform and Ansible or similar technologies like Packer and CDK)
• Ability to write maintainable code in JavaScript, Python, as well as Bash
• Strong Linux, Windows, and Mac Operating Systems and networking fundamentals and understanding of the OSI model
• Deployment Knowledge: npmjs, nuget, cloud formation/fargate, docker containers
• Robust knowledge of GitLab and GitHub pipelines integrated with AWS and/or other cloud infrastructures
• Previous experience participating in On-Call Support rotations for production and internal issues
• A quality-first mindset and a solutions-oriented individual that is a reliable self-starter
• Excellent analytical thinking and a high level of attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the desire to collaborate and influence peers

Bonus Points If You Have Experience In

• Docker Orchestration Technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, and/or Nomad
• AWS Best Practices for Security and Elastic Compute Architecture
• AWS Technologies: ECS, ALB, RDS (Postgres), Elasticache, Cloudfront, S3, Lambda
• Scaling and managing Kafka and Elasticsearch clusters in a production environment
• A background in application and infrastructure security
• SOC2 compliance experience
• Database Scripting: SQL, Oracle, Postgres
• Tools Writing: Monitoring, Data gathering
• Financial or FinTech application experience
