The Role
Product Discover & Promotion (PDP) sits at the heart of the Choosing experience for every Netflix member. From Metadata & Tagging, Creative Strategy & Craft, through to Production, Globalization and Launch, this team touches every title that our members see on the Netflix platform. Our purpose is to create joy for our members by helping them discover stories they’ll love. We do this by marrying entertainment and visual storytelling with data and innovation to develop creative (artwork and video) for touch points across the Netflix experience.
Growing & Emerging Markets are a hugely diverse and important cluster of markets for the EMEA region. They present huge opportunities for growth of our member base and encompass a fantastic range of creative production challenges.
The Creative Producer (GEMS) drives production excellence in our Creative and Craft as we partner with multiple stakeholders to define and develop the strategy for how our highest priority titles are creatively represented on Netflix. The Creative Producer connects and aligns strategy, creative ideation and execution between local teams, Product Creative Studio, external Creative partners, Marcomms, Content and cross-functional partners.
This is an IC role, based in Amsterdam, that has dual-line reporting to the PDP Director GEMS and the Regional Operations Manager EMEA.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to produce compelling imagery, video and textual assets.
Effectively project-manage multiple title launches with internal cross-functional teams and external agencies/partners to ensure timely and accurate sourcing, development, production, and seamless delivery of creative assets.
Provide creative support through the entirety of the creative life cycle.Support creative evolution through guidance and feedback.
Handle the full financial lifecycle of a production including spend tracking and reconciliation against regional budgets .
Scheduling briefing sessions for internal and external creative teams ensure ample lead time for creative production and access to relevant systems and working assets are provided.
Work with Operational teams to ensure projects align with all key dates and milestones cross functionally, updating title level project statuses in relevant documents and systems as required.
Represent PDP in cross-functional discussions around creative production timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Identify improvements to the workflow, developing systems to enable the team to maximize their productivity and effectiveness.
Knowledge sharing with the PDP community.
Contribute to the implementation, improvement and scaling of regional workflows.
8+ years of project/production management and stakeholder management in a creative production environment for digital artwork and video assets.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in languages from other GEMS markets is a distinct advantage (ideally Sub-Saharan Africa and/or CEE).
Exceptional communicator: Ability to inspire and influence, and dexterity in presenting to internal cross-functional teams and external content partners.
Leading without authority. A veteran in building strong relationships with trust and demonstrating effective leadership qualities.
Proactive, fast, and flexible problem-solver with superb time, resource, and stakeholder management.
Self-motivated leader and strong collaborator/team player - with the ability to maintain calm, make good decisions and work with constant ambiguity.
Familiarity with and passion for our Regional content. Experience working in the entertainment space is a plus.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Airtable and Monday.com will be a bonus but not required
