Your future role within QRT

- Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into cloud-based solutions.

- Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS services and AWS CDK.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.

- Write and maintain scripts in Python to automate cloud operations and infrastructure tasks.

- Apply best practices in DevOps and infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure security, scalability, and high availability.

- Monitor cloud environments, analyse performance metrics, and take proactive measures to minimize downtime and improve user experience.

- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and advancements to recommend improvements to current processes and technologies.

Your present skillset

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in a cloud engineering role with a strong focus on AWS, DevOps, and Python programming.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, aligning to a market-facing business unit.

- Proficiency with AWS services, specifically AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), CloudWatch, Elastic Container Service, Lambda.

- Experience with automating tasks in Bash or Python.

- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.

- Understanding of containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to best practices in security and compliance.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK Stack.

- Experience in deploying microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.

- Knowledge of python-based parallel computing frameworks.
