The Position

OPSWAT is looking for a Product Manager (PM) to take OPSWAT’s Email Security products to the next level and strengthen our positioning and market presence.

The PM would be responsible for end-to-end technical and business management, including but not limited to driving product roadmaps, solution offerings, leading the product development life cycle, establishing pricing, and overall cost structure of the business. A big percentage of the day-to-day activities will be working closely with the engineering team, checking requirements, and setting expectations on deliverables. It is essential for the PM to have experience in managing technical teams and have held positions overseeing a business line, including budget management.  

The PM will facilitate all product launches with the relevant go-to-market functions including global sales teams, corporate marketing team, and creative and brand teams.

What You Will be Doing

  • Guide and verify Engineering architecture in applying best practices for cloud native applications development focusing on balancing between scalability and underlying infrastructure cost.
  • Lead the strategic direction of OPSWAT Email Security products by analyzing evolving security challenges and the competitive landscape, while aligning OPSWAT’s strengths with innovative product visions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define clear product requirements, roadmaps, and exit criteria for primary offerings, ensuring alignment with technical capabilities and business objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise to guide product development, integrating both functional and non-functional customer requirements into actionable plans.
  • Support pre- and post-sales processes by offering technical insights and solutions that facilitate customer engagement and enhance business development efforts.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders across go-to-market functions, including sales teams, channel partners, and technology alliances to drive product adoption and awareness.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to create effective sales enablement resources and strategies that resonate with end-users and channel ecosystems.

What We Need from You 

  • Minimum of 5 years in a B2B Product Management role, with at least 3 years of specialized experience in the Email Security domain.
  • Possesses in-depth familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and architectures, along with experience in a leadership role within a native cloud development team; ability to understand and drive engineering processes effectively.
  • A compelling storyteller with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT technology systems, including web security gateways, proxies, Microsoft 365, and Email Security solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer-facing skills, demonstrating strong people management capabilities.
  • Proven project management expertise, thriving in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Experience in developing and deploying cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure or enterprise-level clients.
  • A demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding business objectives.
  • A strategic, creative, and proactive mindset, unafraid to take calculated risks to drive innovation.
