**About the Role**
The Sr. HR Business Partner - EMEA Core Services will provide strategic HR leadership and partnership to the EMEA regional leaders of Core Services teams such as Community Operations (CommOps), Safety, Payments, Insurance, Product, Analytics etc. The role will act as a key member of the EMEA regional leadership teams within Core Services as well as the Core Services HRBP team.
**What You'll Do**
- This role will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the Core Services businesses it supports including each of those teams’ global/ functional priorities and the role of EMEA region/ leadership in enabling those functional priorities. It will use those insights to coach/ counsel regional business leaders, and partner with the functional HRBPs to shape org design, talent strategy, leadership capabilities. It will further focus on improving cross functional alignment and effectiveness within Core Services and beyond by partnering with other HRBPs.
- Be agile in providing insightful perspectives on business and leadership teams regularly to the Core Services HR lead.
- Build relationships and rapport with business leaders to strategically influence and provide expert-level inputs to enable the business goals through people strategy. Utilize that influence and business insight to mentor business leaders, enabling the Core Services regional Leadership teams to thrive in the broader Uber ecosystem.
- Establish effective partnerships with P&P functional teams and ensure that P&P’s strategies are informed by Core Services business needs and being actioned in alignment with business-specific work.
- Partner with senior leaders to craft and understand strategies for their leadership team, their employees, and Core Services broader organization, in alignment with the P&P organization and Uber overall. Execute on these strategies to respond to the current and future needs of the business while keeping a global perspective.
- Constantly think about how to improve the efficiency of the organization - use analytics and insights, look at teams, governance, external factors, and then structure and implement initiatives to address opportunities.
- Understand and influence how Uber’s HR processes work end-to-end and how these programs impact the business. Utilize this understanding to influence outcomes and behaviors within the business.

**What You'll Need**
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience as a strategic HRBP with leading international organizations with a fast paced culture, ambiguity, agility, and complexity.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- In addition to the experience as an HRBP as noted above, additional complementary cross functional experience in HR/ OD consulting, Strategic/ business consulting or business/ operations roles or other relevant cross functional experience that enables a deeper understanding of business intricacies.
- Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and flexibility to be proactive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Competence in making timely, effective, and principles-based decisions using strong judgment to weigh inputs from multiple stakeholders and effectively managing tradeoffs, then aligning stakeholders to those decisions.
- Deep business acumen to understand, anticipate, and solve business needs
- A track record of providing HR consultation to senior leadership on strategic initiatives
- Solid understanding of global HR programs including compensation, performance management, organizational structure and leadership development
- Strong analytical capabilities or prior experience working in analytical functions like compensation or people analytics
- Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on HR matters
- Demonstrated ability to partner within and outside of HR
- Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence
- High EQ, personal maturity, cultural awareness and compassion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Knowledge and experience in technology businesses and familiarity with their global HR practices and policies
