Our team, located in Amsterdam, is looking for self-driven, talented people who can help make digital assets available for everyone.

What is the role about?

The IT Manager will be responsible for leading and growing the IT department, driving the strategy and delivery of IT services, and managing the company's technology infrastructure to meet business needs. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of IT systems and processes.

How will you make an impact?

  • Develop and implement the IT department's strategy, including systems management, service desk, and engineering, in line with the company's goals and objectives
  • Drive the delivery of IT services across the organization, ensuring high quality, availability, and security
  • Manage the company's technology infrastructure, including Google Workspace, MDM and OKTA, office networks, and work to optimize these systems for the needs of the business
  • Develop and grow the IT team, hiring and training new team members
  • Drive the department's progress towards established goals, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that timelines are met
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders and department heads, to ensure that the IT department is meeting business needs and driving the organisation forward
  • Act as a technical advisor to the organisation, providing guidance and recommendations for new tools and services and tools

How will you be successful?

  • 3+ years of experience in IT management, with experience leading and growing teams
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of IT systems and processes, including experience with Google Workspace, MDM and OKTA
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex IT issues
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively drive the IT strategy
  • Experience in managing IT service desk and IT engineering is preferred
