What is the role about?

Bitvavo is seeking a PR & Content Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. You will be an integral part of the Brand and Communication team within the Marketing department. Your primary responsibility will be developing and implementing strategic communication plans, managing public relations activities, and creating compelling content to enhance Bitvavo's brand presence in the European market.

How will you have an impact?

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute PR and content marketing strategies aligned with Bitvavo's business goals and Brand DNA.
• Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers in our European markets to secure positive coverage and elevate Bitvavo’s brand awareness.
• Content Creation: Lead the development of high-quality content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media content, to promote Bitvavo’s products, features, and services across all relevant European target groups.
• Event Management: Manage PR activities for events, conferences, and product launches to maximise media visibility.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, product, and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging aligned with company objectives
• Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to refine strategies

How will you be successful?

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in PR and content marketing roles, preferably in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry (or affinity with crypto or fintech)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, preferably English native. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong media relations experience with a track record of securing positive coverage.
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling content across various channels.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into effective communication strategies.
• Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
